bikes.pizza is a community for people that love bikes, pizza, and often both. The current apps have the following features:
- Members can post to the community their bikes and pizza experiences. A post will include 1-5 photos and some information.
- Posts are reviewed by staff, then at scheduled times, the post will be published.
- The most-recent published post is highlighted on the website, and will be the highlighted post for a minimum of 4 hrs.
- Members have the option to create accounts and sign-in using Apple, Google, or email/password.
- Members have the option to add security to their accounts with both TOTP multi-factor authentication and passkeys.
- Members can edit their previous posts, but the update will trigger a new review.
- Unread counters help alert members to bikes/pizzas they haven't seen yet.
Future features might include things like:
- Commenting on posts and/or a mechanism analogous to "liking" posts.
- Push notifications.
- Following other members.
